Dear Chris,

the documentation you are referring to should not even exist anymore for being so outdated. Please see https://github.com/nest/nest-extension-module for the current example module. The master branch of that repository contains a fully working module with some example components, while the branch minimal contains a clean one from which you should be able to get started with your own module.

Once you have obtained the source code, it should be sufficient to run

cmake -Dwith-nest=/path/to/nest/bin/nest-config .

Cheers,
Jochen!

I've recently downloaded a new version of NEST, and I'm trying to make a new synaptic model, but am breaking down in building their default MyModule model. The process onhttps://nest.github.io/nest-simulator/extension_modules says to run bootstrap.sh, but I can't find a bootstrap.sh. Do you have a version you could send me? If not, who can I contact for help (and how)?

-Chris
