NEST is available under the open source NEST License, which stipulates in particular that you and your work group
- may use NEST for academic research, teaching, and other non-commercial purposes;
- may modify and improve NEST provided that you do not remove any copyright and similar notices;
- may not distribute NEST to others;
- must cite NEST appropriately in any publications based on NEST;
- should inform us about any publication based on NEST.
Before you can download NEST, we kindly ask you to tell us who you are and in what field you work. We use this information only for internal statistical purposes and will not give it out to other institutions or companies.
